Follow this easy recipe for the perfect pizza at home
First things first:
In a large bowl, mix the flour with the salt.
In a separate bowl or cup, dissolve the yeast in water.
Slowly pour the yeast mixture into the flour and mix with a fork.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rest for approximately 20 minutes.
Drip some olive oil on your hands.
Give the dough a few turns, cover it again, and wait another 20 minutes.
Turn the dough a few more times and wait another 20 minutes. Repeat this process about 5 times.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Remove from refrigerator 2 hours before making pizza.
Divide the dough into portions based size, amount and weight of the pizzas you plan to make. Shape into small balls. Place each in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover the bowls with plastic wrap.
When ready to make pizzas, preheat the oven to its highest setting. Dust your countertop with a mixture of flour and semolina. Take each dough ball and spread it out in the flour mixture. Important: Don't flatten the edges!
